Experts.vision seeks to enable useful, legitimate and trustworthy professional relationships between Experts, Requesters and organisations.
These Guidelines apply to profiles, requests, pitches, messages, organisations, ratings, images, links and all other Platform use.
2. Authentic identity
Users must truthfully represent who they are and, where applicable, their organisational affiliation.
Fake profiles, impersonation, misleading photos, fictitious job titles, false experience or credentials and false organisational affiliations are prohibited.
3. Professional information
Experts must describe their experience in a reasonably accurate and current manner.
False qualifications, employment, publications, media appearances, certifications or areas of expertise are prohibited.
4. Organisations
Users may create, administer or claim an organisation only where they have sufficient capacity and authority to do so.
Unauthorised use of organisation names, domains, trademarks or logos and impersonation of real organisations are prohibited.
5. Genuine requests
Requests must relate to a genuine professional need.
They may not be used for indiscriminate email harvesting, commercial list building, disguised prospecting, unrelated promotion, obtaining work through deception, unlawful activity or data collection for undisclosed purposes.
6. Relevant pitches
Pitches must be relevant to the request.
Spam, indiscriminate bulk submissions, repetitive content, unrelated promotions, abusive automation and repeated contact after rejection or blocking are prohibited.
7. Respect and safety
Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, humiliation, hate, unlawful discrimination, credible threats of violence and conduct designed to create a hostile professional environment are prohibited.
8. Privacy
Third-party personal data must not be published without authorisation or a sufficient lawful basis.
Malicious disclosure of home addresses, personal phone numbers, identity documents, credentials, banking information, passwords or other private information for fraud, harassment or harm is prohibited.
9. Confidentiality
Information protected by confidentiality agreements, professional secrecy, embargoes or other duties of confidence must not be published without authority.
10. Intellectual property
Users may not knowingly publish content infringing copyright, trademarks, image rights or other third-party rights.
11. Fraud and security
Scams, phishing, impersonation, forgery, fraudulent payment solicitation, malicious social engineering, malware and other fraudulent activity are prohibited.
12. Scraping and bulk extraction
Users may not automatically extract, collect or reuse at scale profiles, emails, professional data, requests, organisation information or other content unless authorised or legally entitled to do so.
13. Circumvention
Users may not evade technical limits, account restrictions, blocks or security controls or use multiple accounts to bypass controls.
14. Blocking
A block by another user must be respected.
Users may not create new accounts, use other accounts or involve third parties to continue unwanted contact.
15. Reputation manipulation
Accepted pitches, collaborations, ratings, verification, visibility and other metrics may not be manipulated through fictitious or coordinated activity.
16. Good-faith reporting
Reporting mechanisms must be used in good faith.
False or abusive reports designed to harass, silence, cause professional harm or manipulate moderation are prohibited.
17. Automation and artificial intelligence
Using AI or automation to assist in drafting profiles, pitches or requests does not remove user responsibility.
Users remain responsible for accuracy, relevance, rights, legality and avoiding spam.
Experts.vision may restrict systems that create artificial activity or harm other users.
18. Illegal content
The Platform may not be used to store, publish, transmit or facilitate illegal content or unlawful activity.
19. Consequences
Depending on seriousness and context, Experts.vision may warn users, request corrections, remove content, restrict visibility or functions, remove verification, temporarily suspend or terminate accounts.
Seriousness, reach, recurrence, intent, risk, harm, cooperation and history may be considered.
