Verification, reputation and matching

Experts.vision uses verification mechanisms, activity indicators and matching systems to support trust and discovery within the Platform.

These elements are informational and are not professional guarantees.

Experts.vision may check certain profile information using:

• email;
• user-supplied information;
• public professional sources;
• websites;
• publications;
• documentation;
• or other reasonable methods.

A “Verified” badge means only that Experts.vision has carried out certain checks.

It does not mean that:

• all profile information has been verified;
• the person holds a particular official qualification unless expressly stated;
• Experts.vision guarantees their competence;
• their opinions are correct;
• they are suitable for every collaboration;
• or an employment, agency or representation relationship exists with Mapnia.

Experts.vision may verify organisations using a corporate domain, email, website, public information, documentation or other methods.

The first user creating an organisation becomes its initial Owner within the Platform and must declare sufficient capacity and authority to create it.

The Owner role does not by itself amount to legal representation outside Experts.vision.

Organisation ownership may be transferred to another authorised member.

Experts.vision may assist in reassignment where there is a substantiated request, role change, departure of the Owner, loss of domain access, dispute, unauthorised creation or a continuity requirement.

Experts.vision may publicly display the number of pitches accepted by Requesters.

The number reflects activity on the Platform but does not guarantee that a collaboration was completed, paid or successful.

Where ratings or additional indicators exist, they must be based on genuine interactions.

Experts.vision may remove or correct manipulated, fraudulent or clearly inaccurate metrics.

Experts.vision may rank or recommend Experts, requests or opportunities using expertise, industry, topic, language, location, availability, preferences, requirements, activity and other relevance signals.

The purpose is discovery and prioritisation.

Inclusion, omission or ranking does not constitute endorsement, certification or guarantee.

Criteria may change to improve quality, safety or operation.

Users decide whether to contact, accept a pitch, interview, engage, pay or collaborate.

If paid promoted profiles, requests or positions are introduced, they will be clearly identified as sponsored, promoted or equivalent.

Verification, reputation or matching systems may not be manipulated using fake accounts, fictitious activity, abusive automation or arrangements intended solely to alter metrics.
