Depending on context, “Mapnia”, “Experts.vision”, the “Platform”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

This Legal notice governs general access to experts.vision, its subdomains, applications and related services, without prejudice to the Terms of use and other policies applying to registered users.

Experts.vision facilitates contact between professionals with specialised knowledge or experience (“Experts”) and journalists, media professionals, event organisers, podcasters, companies, institutions and other professionals or organisations seeking sources, participants, speakers, advisers or other specialist profiles (“Requesters”).

The Platform may enable users to:

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Experts.vision provides technological infrastructure and is not a party to professional, editorial, employment, commercial or contractual relationships established between users.

• create and browse professional profiles;
• create and manage organisations;
• link Requesters to organisations;
• publish requests or opportunities;
• discover Experts;
• send, receive, accept or reject pitches;
• manage invitations and communications;
• block users;
• report content or conduct;
• verify certain profile or organisation information;
• display activity or reputation indicators;
• and use other features related to the service.

Some areas may be accessed without registration, while other functions require an account.

Experts.vision is intended for persons aged 18 or over. Persons under 18 may not register.

This channel may be used for service, privacy, security, moderation, reporting and rights-related matters.

For the purposes of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on Digital Services, Experts.vision designates the same email address as its electronic point of contact for recipients of the service and competent authorities unless a dedicated channel is later published.

At a minimum, Spanish and English are accepted.

The design, structure, interfaces, software, code, databases, graphics, proprietary texts, logos, trademarks, trade names and other proprietary elements of Experts.vision are protected by applicable law.

Users acquire no rights over these elements beyond those strictly necessary to use the Platform in accordance with its terms.

Reproduction, transformation, distribution, public communication, extraction, reuse or exploitation of Experts.vision proprietary elements is prohibited unless authorised by Mapnia or permitted by law.

User-provided content remains subject to the rights of its respective owners and the Terms of use.

“Experts.vision”, its logos and associated distinctive signs may not be used in a way that creates confusion regarding a relationship, authorisation, collaboration, sponsorship or endorsement by Mapnia.

Users are responsible for their use of third-party names, trademarks and logos.

Profiles, biographies, photographs, logos, requests, pitches, messages, links, ratings and other information submitted by users are the responsibility of the person providing them.

Experts.vision does not perform general prior monitoring of all user content.

A verification badge, validated profile, linked organisation, accepted-pitch counter, rating or other indicator does not, unless expressly stated, constitute official certification, professional guarantee, recommendation or endorsement by Mapnia.

Experts.vision may include links to or integrations with websites, social networks, media outlets, authentication providers and other third-party services.

Their inclusion does not mean Mapnia controls, recommends or assumes responsibility for their content, security, availability, terms or policies.

Experts.vision seeks to maintain a secure and available service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical incidents, providers, security measures, regulatory changes or force majeure.

Each user is responsible for their use of the Platform and decisions made using information obtained through it.

Experts.vision does not guarantee users' identity, qualifications, experience, suitability, solvency or future conduct beyond the specific scope of checks expressly stated.

Experts.vision also does not guarantee that a request will receive responses, a pitch will be accepted, a collaboration will be completed or any particular remuneration will be paid.

Nothing in this Legal notice limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie policy.

This Legal notice is governed by Spanish law and directly applicable European Union law.

Where a user legally qualifies as a consumer, mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules applicable to that user remain unaffected.

Experts.vision may update this Legal notice to reflect legal, technical, corporate or functional changes.

The current version will be the version published on the Platform together with its update date.
